COOL PACKING ITEMS Here are some items I always take with me on trips. Space Bags These Space Bags are great! I use large bags for my pants, sweaters, and towel. I use medium bags for tops and underwear. They are transparent which helps during security-checks. Mesh Pockets Set These Mesh Pockets are cool. My backpack didn't have alot of smaller pockets so I bought these and velcro'd them to the inside-back of my pack. Extreme Hearos Earplugs Definitely have to have earplugs for those party hostels or rooms above 'happening' streets! Sundry Kit Clear toiletry bags are useful for keep your stuff organized and for carrying everything you need when you stay at hostels with shared baths. Micro-Zoom Compact Binoculars These are cool - I bought these for my Amazon trip. Has zoom level that lets you zoom from 7x to 21x instantly. Multi-coated ruby-tinted lenses provide infrared and UV protection. Permethrin Permethrin helped me ward off the mosquitos in the Amazon and in Belize. It binds to clothing and bedding to repel insects. One application will last about two weeks and through a washing.

Here are the electronics I take: Canon PowerShot S410 4 Mega pixel Digital Elph Here's the digital camera I take. It's very small and can fit undetected in my pocket. The movie mode is cool! You can film clips without carrying a bulky camcorder. There's also a S500 model that's more expensive and cheaper models SD110 and S400. SanDisk Ultra II 256 MB Compact Flash Memory Card This 256MB holds about 150 4MP photos. I take a few cards so I can take stills and movie clips. There are also cheaper, less memory cards of 32MB, 64MB, 128MB and more expensive 512MB and 1GB. Rio Nitrus 1.5 GB MP3 Jukebox Yea I know it's a sin to buy an MP3 player that's not an IPOD - but whatever. I'm quite content with my Rio and it's so small that it's great for traveling
