VICTORIA FALLS CONT., ZAMBIA
Victoria Falls is amaaazing - especially during the winter when the falls are at their fullest!
We spent half a day in Zambia looking at the magnificant falls. We got soaking wet walking over Knife Edge Bridge right in front of the falls - even though we had ponchos on. Don't worry if you forgot your poncho - they 'rent' them to you for a couple of bucks once inside the park.

We walked about 35 minutes from downtown Victoria Falls into Zambia. We crossed Victoria Falls Bridge - that crazy bungee jumpers use - and ran into a troop of baboons. Yikes! Baboons give me the creeps! They travel in large troops of 20-40, swagger when they walk, aren't scared of people at all, and steal purses or pretty much anything you are carrying looking for food. So, we crossed the street because we didn't want to get 'jacked' by the baboons. There were also Vervet Monkeys all over. They don't steal things from you but will hop on a table and steal sugar packets in a second!
Anyway, we then had to go and pay for a day visa - $10 - at the border office. After leaving the office, you walk about 5-10 minutes to the entrance to the Zambian side of the falls. Here you will let go of another $10.
