GLASGOW CONT. , SCOTLAND General Info Glasgow Stirling More Photos There are tons of things to do in Glasgow depending on your interests. Different areas of Glasgow include: Old Glasgow which is the medieval portion which has the High Street Station, the Cathedral of St. Kentigern and Glasgow Green among many other attractions and examples of period architecture. The Merchant City is west of Old Glasgow. This district offers the most comprehensive shopping area in the city including the Argyle Arcade. The West End has most of the major galleries and museums, alongside the University of Glasgow, the Botanical Gardens and Kelvingrove Park. Unfortunately we didn't have much time in Glasgow. After we spent much of the day in Stirling, we came back to Glasgow and went to St. Geroge's Square and then walked through the Merchant City district to do last minute shopping. For dinner we went to an Italian restaurant called Dino's across from the Central Station. They had great Italian sausage pizza! Stirling >
