The murals today are a major tourist attraction. There are 4 main sections of murals from the hardest hit areas of Belfast. The three nationalist areas are 1) The Falls Road - the Republican backbone of west Belfast; 2) Ballymurphy / Whiterock - west Belfast’s Republican heart; and 3) Ardoyne - the Republican stronghold of north Belfast.
